Tell me a basic 4 line paragraph about the story of HL2:
You start with a G-Man introduction Hinting you at what has happened and about the seven hour war. You appear on a train with two Normal citizens, And stop at City 17. You then get out and can go through a small area where you are stopped. This is when you are taken into a Room that reveals Barney, That stopped you from heading to nova prospekt.

You then have to leave the room, And go up a set up stairs where you are stopped again, ("Pick up that can." ) And told to put a can into a trashcan (Or you can just run). You then enter the station when rations are being handed out to City 17 Citizens. You then continue to climb into a back area where you enter a apartment building, This is when the combine come and raid the place, And you must escape on the roofs. You enter a building, And the staircase back up breaks, and combine rush up and beat you, But then a female voice is heard and you hear the combine being attacked.

This is when you meet Alyx, And go down a elevator and she offers to buy you a drink. Little did you know, It was a hidden door, And inside is Kleiner and His pet Lamaar! Then Barney enters and you get you Suit (HEV suit). You then enter a room where Kleiner has built a teleporter device. Alyx Goes through safely, But Lamaar interrupts you and you get teleported outside, This is when Barney finds you and tosses you a crowbar.

You then escape a amount of CpU's and enter a slum like area, You encounter a Vortiguant that helps you by recharging your suit. You then escape through a sewer system. Then gain a motorboat and have to escape- Then defeat I Hunter chopper. You then make it you your desired location that leads to a lab. Inside is Alyx's father, DOG , Mossman, And some others.
You then get your gravity gun and get to practice using it with DOG using his 'toy'.

How are Vortigaunts envolved in HL2?:
They are either enslaved by the Combine, Or valuable allies to the Rebels

Do a little RP with /me's of what a Vortigaunt does:
** Shakes his head slightly, and puts his hands over each other in front of him.
** He looks around, The slum landscape around him seems to frighten him slightly.
* Something walks toward, him ... But it is not clear of what it is yet.
** He goes to hide, Knowing he could be enslaved.
* The figure is clear, and Walks out of the dark area.
* It is a young woman, In what seems to be a rebel uniform.
* She holds a green beanie, That has some blood on it.
** He leans up from his hiding place to get a closer look, And notices she is crying.
** He feels sorry for the human, But does not know if she is hostile.
* She looks over at his hiding place, and seems to gasp.
** He lowers himself down, But his hunched spine still would make him slightly visible.
** He listens to hear for crying, But now ... He hears footsteps?
** He turns his head towards the direction,
* She stands on the other side of his hiding place, staring at him
* She looks at him, And starts speaking
Woman: "Y-your one of those- Vortiguants, p-Please help me."
Vortiguant: "This one does not understand"
Woman: "The combine, They are coming- They killed my entire team."
*She holds up the beanie.
** He looks at the tunnel she had come from, and listens once more.
*- Combine running sound, Getting louder.
** He looks at her, And nods.
* She points without saying anything at what seems to be a weak hang of dirt that has some rocks above it.
Woman: "Sh-shoot that when T-they come." *She is tearing up again.*
*- The combine runs out of the tunnel, and stops at the exit.
Combine: "Hold it right there!"
** He quickly charges up green energy, Forming a aura around his hands, And fires the energy at the rocks above the exit.
*- The combine looks up and gasp and tries to escape.
*- The rocks falls on him, and seem to knock him out.
** He looks at the woman, And attempts to smile.
*She looks at him, smiles and motions for him to follow her.
